Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026
Revliu (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our platform and services (the “Service”), you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information.
- Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
- Visitor tracking data: When you install the Revliu tracking snippet on your website, we collect anonymous visitor identifiers, referral sources, and session events on your visitors’ behalf. This data is processed as a data processor on your instructions.
- Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing metadata from Stripe.
- Communications: If you contact us, we retain the content of that communication and your contact details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Process transactions and manage your subscription.
- Send you service-related communications, such as account confirmations and billing notices.
- Respond to your support requests and enquiries.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Visitor Tracking Data and Your Customers
When you use Revliu to track visitors on your own website, you are the data controller for that visitor data, and Revliu acts as your data processor. You are responsible for ensuring you have an appropriate legal basis under applicable law (such as GDPR) for collecting and processing your visitors’ data, and for providing appropriate notice in your own privacy policy.
Revliu processes visitor data solely to provide the attribution Service on your behalf. We do not use your visitors’ data for our own marketing or analytics purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Revliu uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain authenticated sessions, protect account security, and remember your cookie preference. These cookies cannot be disabled through our consent banner because the Service cannot operate securely without them.
Vercel Analytics is optional and is loaded only after you select “Accept all”. Selecting “Reject optional” does not affect authentication or billing. Your choice is stored for six months and can be changed through the Cookie settings link in the website footer.
When a Revliu customer installs the tracking snippet on its own website, that customer is responsible for collecting any consent required by applicable law before enabling visitor tracking.
5. Data Sharing
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We engage trusted third-party providers (such as Stripe for payments, Supabase for database hosting, and Cloudflare for infrastructure) who process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers: If Revliu is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Visitor attribution data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Portability: Request a machine-readable export of your data.
- Objection: Object to certain processing activities.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@revliu.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. International Transfers
Revliu is operated from France. If you access the Service from outside the European Union, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Contact
